Hiten wins JPY2m research grant for hot-forging technology
The excellence award supports the manufacturer’s development work with the Osaka Research Institute of Industrial Science and Technology.
Hiten has won a JPY2 million excellence award in The Senshu Ikeda Bank, Ltd.’s 22nd Innovation Research and Development Grant programme, announced on March 2.
The bank selected its research into innovative hot-forging technology, naming the Osaka Research Institute of Industrial Science and Technology as the collaborating institution. Hiten manufactures cold- and hot-forging dies and develops tooling for demanding metal-forming processes.
