MuRay builds imaging systems that use a controlled muon beam to inspect the internal structure of dense metals, ceramics and composites. Its platform combines laser-plasma acceleration, particle detectors and image reconstruction for non-destructive testing.

Headquartered in Hamburg with operations in Tallinn, the company is led by physicists Kristjan Põder and Andi Hektor. Its first commercial focus is industrial quality inspection, including complex aerospace and energy components, with an imaging service planned for 2027.
