Candi Solar secures $5 million green bond financing
Symbiotics Investments arranged the transaction to support solar projects for business customers in India and South Africa.
Symbiotics Investments announced a $5 million green bond arranged for Candi Solar on December 20, 2023. The financing supports a company that develops and owns solar energy projects for commercial and industrial customers.
Candi will use the proceeds to expand its project portfolio and supply smaller businesses with affordable, reliable solar power. The bond was issued through the Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises Bonds platform under its Sustainable Bond Framework.
