Pulpos’s USD5 million financing backs WhatsApp AI tools for retailers
Dalus Capital led the financing, joined by ALIVE Ventures, Impact Ventures PSM and Tantauco Ventures, then known as Daedalus.
Pulpos raised USD5 million in financing led by Dalus Capital, with participation from ALIVE Ventures, Impact Ventures PSM and Tantauco Ventures, then known as Daedalus. El Cronista reported the financing on April 9, 2026; ALIVE subsequently said its investment was made in 2025.
The capital supports development of AI agents connected to WhatsApp through Pulpos’s point-of-sale platform. Planned functions include responding to customers, sending payment reminders, issuing receipts and updating inventory, bringing everyday shop management into a channel merchants already use.
Founded by Franco Silvetti, Frank Martin and Lucas Cortés, Pulpos supplies cloud software for sales, inventory, invoicing and customer credit to small retailers in Mexico. The USD5 million financing followed its USD4 million Seed round reported in 2024.
