huupe selected for Startup Qatar’s inaugural investment cohort
The basketball technology company joined the first group selected for funding and operating support in Qatar.
huupe was named among the first successful applicants to the Startup Qatar Investment Program on November 12, 2024. The programme offered financial backing and operating benefits to help selected startups establish or expand in Qatar.
huupe combines basketball equipment with connected training and digital competition. It was one of 11 selected companies spanning sports technology, financial services and other technology sectors.
The cohort announcement did not specify the company’s individual award value. Support also included shared offices, accommodation and entrepreneur visas.
