A91 Partners leads Atomberg’s Series A

Whiteboard Capital Fund and Survam Partners join the Indian appliance maker’s financing.

Atomberg announced its Series A on September 4, 2019, led by A91 Partners with Whiteboard Capital Fund and Survam Partners participating. The transaction was reported at $10 million; earlier reporting described a mix of new capital and shareholder sales without separating their values.

The company had installed about 400,000 ceiling fans, founder Manoj Meena told Inc42. Its brushless motor design gave it a technical basis for extending the Gorilla fan range into other household appliances. The round backed wider distribution and a larger research team.
