Guangxi Tencent Venture Capital Co., Ltd. has become a shareholder in Zhengzhou Qixiang Culture, according to a November 3 report by 36Kr citing corporate registry platform Tianyancha. The investment amount and ownership stake were not disclosed.
A studio spanning production and distribution
Founded in May 2021, Zhengzhou Qixiang Culture produces comics, motion comics and animation. It distributes its work to consumers through comics and video platforms in China and overseas.
The company uses AI tools in its comics and animation production process, according to its recruitment profile on Zhengzhou University of Science and Technology's employment portal.
