Vama raises INR220m to expand spiritual commerce and travel
Wavemaker Partners leads the Pre-Series A round, with 500 Global and other investors participating.
Vama raised INR220 million in a Pre-Series A round reported on 30 September 2025. Existing backer Wavemaker Partners led the financing, joined by 500 Global, Sadev Ventures, Venture Catalysts, Silverneedle Ventures and angel investors.
The company planned to use the capital for spiritual e-commerce, product development, marketing and offline temple travel. Cofounder Manu Jain told The Economic Times it intended to launch travel services in at least two cities that year.
Vama connected users with more than 250 temples and over 300 astrologers at the time. Its strategy extended the app's paid ritual and consultation services into a wider set of spiritual experiences.
