Ubitium raises $14 million seed to productize its processor

Ibex Investors leads backing for a reconfigurable chip architecture.

Ubitium announced $14 million in new seed funding on October 13, led by Ibex Investors. OpenOcean, KBC Focus Fund, Runa Capital, Inflection and Florian Seibel participated, with Seibel investing personally.

The round takes total seed funding to $18 million. Proceeds will turn the demonstrated architecture into a commercial product, with evaluation units of the UB410 planned for 2027.

Its processor combines sensing, AI inference and real-time control on shared hardware, targeting machines whose computing demands change during operation.
