Sand.ai completes $200 million Series A+ for video-generation AI
CoStone Capital and Wangsu Science & Technology jointly led the financing.
Sand.ai has completed a $200 million Series A+ jointly led by CoStone Capital and Wangsu Science & Technology. The round includes institutional investors, Shanghai state-backed investors and returning shareholders.
The company develops video-generation foundation models and the VidMuse creation agent. Its MAGI-2 Preview model generates audio and video together.
The announcement follows Wangsu’s September proposal to invest in the same Series A+ transaction. Sand.ai also disclosed two earlier rounds with combined proceeds exceeding $100 million; those rounds are separate from the newly announced $200 million.
