Reverion awarded €19.5m for reversible power plant production
The Innovation Fund grant supports expansion of manufacturing for the RESILIENCE project.
Reverion announced an Innovation Fund grant of approximately €19.5 million in a release dated March 5, 2025. The RESILIENCE project will expand production of its reversible power plants in Eresing, Germany.
The expansion includes production lines, component manufacturing, final assembly and factory testing. Reverion’s solid oxide cell systems generate electricity from biogas and can reverse to store surplus renewable electricity as gas, giving biogas operators flexible generation and storage.
