Xinlian Power raises nearly ¥2bn Series C for AI power systems
The compound semiconductor company is bringing automotive power-chip expertise into data-centre infrastructure.
The financing
Xinlian Power has completed a Series C of nearly 2 billion yuan, led by China Mobile Industrial Chain Leader Fund. The syndicate brings together investors from communications, computing infrastructure, semiconductor equipment, materials and automotive supply chains.
Founded in 2023 and controlled by United Nova Technology, the company designs and manufactures silicon carbide and gallium nitride semiconductors and power modules. It is extending capabilities developed for electric vehicles into the power-conversion systems used by AI data centres.
The company is developing devices for high-voltage direct-current supplies and solid-state transformers, with some higher-voltage products undergoing customer validation. The new industrial shareholders bring potential collaboration across the power and computing supply chain as Xinlian expands beyond its automotive base.
