Gallium Defense emerges from stealth with €7.1m seed funding

The Paris company is developing radar systems intended to make drone detection affordable to deploy across more sites.

The deal

Gallium Defense has disclosed a €7.1 million seed round co-led by Keen Venture Partners and 360 Capital, with Omnes Capital and Polytechnique Ventures participating. The company announced the financing as it emerged from stealth during European Defence Week in Paris.

Founded in April 2026, Gallium combines commercial components with radar hardware and software processing. Its GDS-10 is designed for small-drone detection, with versions for armed forces and operators of airports, ports, energy facilities and other critical infrastructure.

The company’s approach is to make radar coverage economical enough for wider deployment. It is conducting outdoor trials and demonstrations as it works towards production, with orders expected to open in the first quarter of 2027. The seed financing closed in June; the November announcement introduces the company and its product to a broader market.
