Quanfluence raises USD2 million Seed led by Pi Ventures
Golden Sparrow and Reena Dayal also backed the photonic computing startup’s early product and quantum-computer development.
Quanfluence raised USD2 million in Seed funding led by Pi Ventures, with participation from Golden Sparrow and Reena Dayal, founder of the Quantum Ecosystems and Technology Council of India. Pi Ventures announced its investment on December 17, 2024, and Quanfluence confirmed the round’s amount the following day.
The company planned to use the capital to scale its near-term optimisation products and accelerate development of a general-purpose quantum computer. Its optical Ising machine uses light to address complex optimisation problems, with applications including logistics, scheduling and financial risk modelling.
The Bengaluru startup was incubated at the IITM Incubation Centre. Its strategy combines quantum-inspired hardware that can address existing business problems with longer-term research into photonic quantum computing.
