Prossell Holdings raises seed funding for manufacturing rollup and AI tools
Chiba Dojo Fund led the financing as the Niigata group combines factory succession with software and engineering services.
Prossell Holdings has raised seed equity in a round led by Chiba Dojo Fund, with participation from one individual investor. The company announced the financing on August 25, 2026. The amount of the seed round was not disclosed.
Preserving factory knowledge through succession
The proceeds will support development of FA Engineering OS, expansion of its embedded-engineering business, acquisitions of small manufacturing companies and recruitment of AI and mechanical-design engineers.
The group brings together factory-automation equipment makers and parts-processing businesses facing succession problems. Its AI work draws on the engineering data and practical knowledge held inside those companies, including drawings, PLC programmes and design experience.
Prossell acquired Echigo Iron Works in 2024 and adopted a holding-company structure in November 2025. Its engineers also work inside manufacturers on AI implementation, using that experience to identify problems for product development.
The company said cumulative group financing, including debt, had reached ¥250 million. That figure covers its wider financing history; it did not disclose the amount provided in this seed investment.
