Manufacturing succession and engineering data
Prossell Holdings brings small factory-automation equipment makers and parts-processing companies into a manufacturing group. It aims to preserve the skills, employment and design knowledge of businesses facing succession challenges.
The company develops FA Engineering OS, an AI platform that uses drawings, PLC programmes and other engineering data to support design and estimating work. Acquired businesses provide operating experience and technical material for that development.
Working inside the factory
Its engineers also work directly with manufacturers on AI implementation and digital engineering. The company uses that field work to identify problems and improve its products.
Based in Niigata, the group acquired Echigo Iron Works in 2024 and moved to a holding-company structure in November 2025. It also operates recruitment and education activities connecting technical-college students with manufacturing employers.
