K2Lab announces seed financing from Seas Capital for creator commerce agents
The Hangzhou company is building an AI commerce workflow that helps overseas creators turn content into sales.
K2Lab announced a seed financing exclusively backed by Seas Capital, known in Chinese as Yunshi Capital, on 13 January 2026. The amount was described as tens of millions of renminbi.
A business agent for individual creators
Founded by former DingTalk executive Wang Ming, K2Lab is developing AI agents for creators who want to earn from content commerce. Its product covers tasks such as product research, scripting, video creation, distribution and performance analysis.
The company selected overseas creators as its initial market, with the United States as its first focus. Its approach combines multiple specialist agents into a workflow intended to deliver commercial results rather than a collection of separate creative tools.
Building product and distribution
The seed capital will support product development, AI capabilities, user growth and recruitment. At the time of the announcement, K2Lab planned to move from invitation testing toward commercial promotion in the first quarter of 2026.
The seed financing precedes the company’s subsequent Angel and Angel+ rounds.
