Exobot received a ₹30 lakh cash grant at the FICCI–Mercedes-Benz India Bharat Innovation & Business Ideas Challenge on February 13, 2026. FICCI’s award notice lists the bionic-hand company among the recipients of the programme’s grant cheques.

Founded by Munish Kumar and incubated at IHFC at IIT Delhi, Exobot develops GripX, a myoelectric prosthetic hand. Sensors detect signals from the wearer’s muscles and translate them into grip movements, allowing the user to open and close the hand.
