Physicl raises $10 million seed round for robot training simulations

Inovia Capital led the financing for a platform that generates labelled 3D environments for robotics and world-model developers.

Physicl has raised $10 million in seed funding led by Inovia Capital. Founder Alex de Vigan is adapting the 3D production technology his team developed at nfinite to help physical AI developers train models in realistic simulated environments.

Its Studio application lets teams vary scenes, objects and lighting to produce synthetic training data for difficult cases, such as identifying a cup in shadow or among clutter. The company is opening the product in private beta, with a starting library of more than 10,000 scenes and 100,000 objects.
