CTRL+Z wins FICCI–Mercedes-Benz innovation grant

The energy storage venture founded by K V S Pavan Choudary was among the February 13, 2026 award winners.

CTRL+Z won a cash grant through the FICCI–Mercedes-Benz India Bharat Innovation & Business Ideas Challenge on February 13, 2026. Mercedes-Benz named the company among the seven winners, and FICCI said the programme awarded ₹30 lakh grant cheques to each winner.

Founded by K V S Pavan Choudary, CTRL+Z develops advanced materials and zinc-ion cell technology for energy storage. Its work targets long-life storage applications, including stationary infrastructure and data centres.
