Algebris Climatech commits €3m to CorPower Ocean
The climate fund joins CorPower Ocean’s Series B to support turnkey wave energy systems.
Algebris Climatech confirmed an approximately €3 million commitment to CorPower Ocean on May 26, 2026, following registration of shares in the wave energy developer’s Series B financing.
The investment comes from Algebris Investments’ climate venture fund. The manager said the broader round also includes the EIC Fund and will help CorPower Ocean develop turnkey wave energy systems.
Based in Stockholm, CorPower Ocean builds converters that turn ocean waves into electricity. Its technology is intended to add a predictable marine energy source to electricity systems alongside other renewables.
