Yazen closes €19.5M Series A for international expansion

The November 2024 round was co-led by Evli Growth Partners and Helsana HealthInvest, with four additional backers.

Yazen announced an oversubscribed €19.5 million Series A on November 4, 2024. Evli Growth Partners and Helsana HealthInvest co-led the financing, joined by Almaz Capital, Yabeo and existing Swedish investors Luminar Ventures and Aggregate Media.

The company raised the capital to accelerate its international expansion. Its digital care model combined medical weight management with continuing lifestyle support, giving Yazen a service it could extend beyond its initial Swedish market.

The financing brought new investors together with existing backers as Yazen developed its European operations. The company’s approach paired a digital platform with healthcare professionals, making the expansion of clinical delivery central to its growth plans.
