Vortex raises JPY300m through Yamagata Bank bond placement
The Japanese office-property specialist issued a three-year unsecured bond to fund working capital, with donations linked to the SDGs financing scheme.
Vortex issued a JPY300 million unsecured private-placement bond on September 30, with The Yamagata Bank, Ltd. acting as financial agent and underwriter. The bond has a three-year term, and the proceeds will provide working capital.
The financing uses Yamagata Bank’s 130th-anniversary SDGs private-placement bond scheme. Vortex plans to use savings from a partial waiver of issuance fees to support a new stadium project in Yamagata; the bank will also make an issuance-linked donation to the prefecture’s sustainable tourism initiatives.
