Forest Digital raises ¥210m pre-Series A for URALAA immersive live viewing
XTech Ventures leads the financing to develop shared sports and entertainment experiences in Japan.
Forest Digital, now named URALAA, announced a ¥210 million pre-Series A financing on 24 June 2026. XTech Ventures led the round, with Hokuyo Bank, Sapporo Innovation Fund and Mizuho Capital participating.
Turning live viewing into a shared experience
The company’s URALAA platform combines video, sound and spatial presentation to let audiences experience sports and entertainment together beyond the original venue. Its cloud technology distributes live footage into multi-screen viewing spaces.
The funding will support business expansion, stronger content partnerships, product development and team growth. The company had already delivered immersive football viewing at the Osaka–Kansai Expo and a live multi-screen fireworks event.
Partners for the next stage
Sapporo Innovation Fund, managed by DG Incubation, joined the financing alongside the banking and venture investors. The company also brought former DAZN Japan executive Manabu Yamada and former Kurashiru business leader Taisho Kaneko into its management team.
Forest Digital subsequently adopted the URALAA name in September 2026.
