PreScalar raises $7 million seed round for connected factory testing
Dynamo Ventures and BMW i Ventures co-led the financing to expand PreScalar’s R&D, hardware manufacturing and production deployments.
PreScalar announced $7 million in seed funding on October 22, 2026. Dynamo Ventures and BMW i Ventures co-led the round, with Blue Wire Capital, Uplift Ventures and Antler participating.
Scaling the factory software layer
The San Francisco company combines modular test hardware with software for firmware deployment and device traceability. It addresses a production bottleneck: when software changes after components enter inventory, manufacturers can face manual reprogramming, disconnected records and costly returns.
The funding will expand research and development, hardware manufacturing capabilities and the team, while bringing the platform into more production environments. PreScalar says it already works with both high-growth technology businesses and large global manufacturers.
