PreScalar gives manufacturers a connected system for testing hardware, deploying firmware and tracking devices on the factory floor. It serves companies building software-defined products, including vehicles, robots, consumer electronics and defence equipment.
Connecting tests to each device
Its modular test hardware can begin with one station and expand across a production line. Software brings test workflows, firmware versions and production data into a shared record, helping engineering and manufacturing teams identify affected devices when a software change is needed.
Built from factory experience
Skyler Salman, John Cathcart and Ben Fredrickson founded the San Francisco company in 2025 after working on complex hardware programmes. PreScalar turns infrastructure they previously built internally into a platform other manufacturers can deploy.
