Photo-on-Demand Chemical Co., Ltd. has won a JPY3 million MU-TECH research grant, announced on February 17, 2025. The selected project develops photo-on-demand polymer synthesis using biogas as a feedstock.

The Kobe University startup uses light-driven chemistry to produce organic chemicals. Its business includes ingredients and intermediates, contract manufacturing and technology partnerships.
