Nethive secures Bregal Milestone backing alongside JoyComm acquisition
The majority growth investment supports expansion of Nethive’s cybersecurity services and software, while JoyComm adds networking and cloud expertise.
A majority investment and an acquisition
Bregal Milestone has announced a majority growth investment in Nethive and backed its acquisition of cybersecurity and IT specialist JoyComm. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Transaction adviser Fineurop Soditic said Bregal Milestone acquired a majority stake from Alcedo, with Nethive’s founders reinvesting alongside the new investor. Alessandro Bellato and Diego Rocco continue to lead the company as co-chief executives.
Expanding the cybersecurity platform
Nethive plans to develop AI-enabled automation, extend its managed services and proprietary software, strengthen its commercial operations and pursue further selective acquisitions. JoyComm adds expertise in cybersecurity, IT and operational-technology networking, and cloud infrastructure.
The combined business serves enterprises, smaller companies and public-sector organisations. Nethive’s proprietary products include HiveFlow for network-based security services and X-Suite for monitoring and log management.
