INOMER wins JPY2m grant for rehabilitation knowledge transfer
The project combines wearable robotics and data to make skilled gait-rehabilitation methods easier to reproduce.
INOMER has won a JPY2 million excellence award in The Senshu Ikeda Bank, Ltd.’s 22nd Innovation Research and Development Grant programme, announced on March 2.
The selected project develops a platform for transferring skilled gait-rehabilitation techniques, with the Institute of Science Tokyo listed as a collaborator. INOMER combines its inoGear HE-1 wearable robot with data tools that link assistance settings and observed movement.
INOMER also received an Open Innovation award supported by Hankyu Hanshin Properties. That collaboration support is separate from the stated JPY2 million research grant.
