Magic Vision raises €600,000 for care monitoring
SIxS and Italian business angels backed the company behind Silver Eye, a monitoring system for older people and care providers.
Magic Vision has raised €600,000 from SIxS and a group of Italian business angels to bring its Silver Eye monitoring technology to market.
Silver Eye uses environmental sensors and AI to identify falls and changes in activity, alerting caregivers when someone may need help. The Italian startup is deploying the system in homes and residential care settings, with data processed locally.
SIxS develops GECOS, management software for cooperatives and social-sector organisations. Magic Vision is also preparing a further fundraising to expand its partner network and enter European markets.
