HyImpulse raises more than €50m in Series A extension for launch vehicles
The German rocket company will prepare its next SR75 mission and SL1’s maiden flight while expanding production and commercial operations.
Hybrid rockets for suborbital and orbital missions
HyImpulse uses a hybrid propulsion system that combines paraffin-based fuel with liquid oxygen for its SR75 suborbital vehicle and SL1 orbital launcher. The company completed SR75’s inaugural campaign in 2024 and is preparing a second flight, while SL1 remains in development.
The company has raised more than €50 million in a Series A extension to prepare those missions and expand production capacity and commercial operations. Investors include BW-Capital, North Ventures, Campus Founders Ventures, Join Capital, Bayern Kapital, Ace Capital Partners and the German Aerospace Center. The funding supports a move from flight demonstrations toward repeatable launch services for research, commercial and institutional payloads.
