Coratia Technologies raised $2m pre-Series A led by MGF Kavachh
The June 2025 financing backed an Indian underwater robotics company developing systems for maritime security and infrastructure inspection.
Coratia Technologies announced a $2 million pre-Series A round in June 2025, led by MGF Kavachh. The investor’s transaction counsel, Sarvaank Associates, also confirmed the financing.
The NIT Rourkela-incubated company develops autonomous underwater vehicles and remotely operated robots for tasks that can be difficult or dangerous for human divers. Its technology addresses inspection and surveillance needs around energy assets, bridges, dams and maritime infrastructure.
MGF Kavachh focuses on frontier and deep technologies with defence and space applications. The investment added capital behind Coratia’s work on domestically developed underwater systems.
