Causa Prima raises $20 million seed for business finance agents

Base10 Partners leads financing as the company develops its platform and expands in the US.

Causa Prima announced a $20 million seed round on October 13, led by Base10 Partners. QED Investors, FJ Labs, Creandum, Kfund and Borusan Ventures participated, according to transaction counsel Wilson Sonsini.

The financing brings total funding to $30 million following an earlier $10 million pre-seed. Capital will support platform development and US expansion, with a New York office planned.

The company’s agents coordinate invoice disputes and payment negotiations between buyers and suppliers. Finance teams set decision rules and cash limits, allowing routine work to proceed while exceptions remain subject to human approval.
