AERLIN closes undisclosed Seed round to build its flying-wing aircraft
The Berlin aviation startup will advance its first series product and prototype a two-seat ultralight aimed at private pilots, flight schools and aviation clubs.
One aerodynamic unit
AERLIN is developing a two-seat ultralight sport aircraft in which the wing and fuselage form one integrated flying-wing design. The company intends that layout to reduce drag and the energy needed for flight, while a flying demonstrator has already validated the concept.
The Seed financing supports the step from demonstrator toward a first series product: AERLIN plans to build a prototype and continue development and certification. The company has not disclosed the round’s amount; its stated target customers are private sport pilots, flight schools and aviation clubs.
