Abyom selected for TIDE 2.0 scale-up grant
The rocket propulsion startup was included in PIEDS BITS Pilani’s January 2024 selection announcement.
Abyom SpaceTech was selected for the TIDE 2.0 Scale-Up Investment Grant, PIEDS BITS Pilani announced on 9 January 2024. The company publicly thanked MeitY Startup Hub and the PIEDS team for their support.
Now branded Abyom SpaceTech & Defence, the company develops rocket propulsion and reusable launch systems. Its work includes liquid engines and testing infrastructure for space and defence programmes.
The scale-up programme supports technology companies preparing viable products for commercialisation. PIEDS did not disclose Abyom’s individual award amount in the selection announcement.
