Yotta secures about $150 million ahead of planned IPO

The data centre company raises capital from global family offices for its next stage of expansion.

Yotta Data Services had secured $150 million from global family offices as part of an ongoing pre-IPO fundraise, chief executive Sunil Gupta told Informist in an interview published on July 2, 2026.

Gupta outlined a layered approach to financing its expansion. Data centres and cloud operations would use company capital and bank debt, while GPU-based services would also use financing arranged outside Yotta’s balance sheet. The different structures reflected the rising capital cost of moving from colocation into AI computing.
