Venomics AI raises $2.7m to develop venom-derived medicines

Venomics AI has raised $2.7 million in pre-seed financing co-led by Speciale Invest and South Park Commons, with Operators Studio participating. The company’s own timeline dates the funding milestone to April 10, 2026.
The Bengaluru biotech combines venom biology, AI and experimental screening to identify molecules with therapeutic potential. The financing supports a larger molecular dataset, stronger computational and laboratory capabilities and a multidisciplinary discovery team.
Its Venom Atlas connects molecular data with functional tests. Candidates prioritised by AI are screened in the laboratory, and those results guide further predictions and molecule design.
