Tissium secures EIB facility of up to €30m for tissue-repair technology

Milestone-linked financing supports clinical development, commercialisation and manufacturing.

Tissium has secured a financing facility of up to €30 million from the European Investment Bank to support development and commercialisation of its tissue-repair products. EIB records show an agreement signed on December 30, 2025 and a project summary released on February 3, 2026.

The facility combines venture debt and dilutive financing in three €10 million tranches tied to commercial, clinical and financing milestones. It supports product development, regulatory work and manufacturing capacity.

The French medtech company develops programmable polymers for tissue reconstruction. The EIB facility is separate from the €30 million equity financing included in Tissium’s June 2026 package announcement.
