Third Dimension AI raises $7M seed led by Felicis
The October 2024 financing backed team expansion and training of models that generate detailed 3D environments.
Third Dimension AI announced a $7 million seed round on October 8, 2024, led by Felicis. Abstract Ventures, MVP Ventures, Soma Capital and Solari Capital also invested.
The company planned to use the capital to expand its team and train generative AI models for building 3D worlds. It targeted engineers and artists who need realistic environments for simulation, games and other development work.
Founders Tolga Kart, Piotr Sokolski and Özgun Pelvan brought experience spanning autonomous driving, games and machine learning. Their approach aimed to shorten the manual process of producing detailed environments, making it easier to reconstruct real places or create new virtual settings.
