TERASi raises €11m seed for tactical millimetre-wave communications
The Swedish company’s AirCore hardware creates directional wireless links for defense and security teams operating without dependable fixed or satellite infrastructure.
A wireless link for degraded environments
TERASi’s AirCore technology uses compact millimetre-wave hardware to establish directional data links where conventional networks or satellite connections may be unavailable. The company says its system can operate across distances of more than 100 kilometres without relying on existing infrastructure, giving defense and security teams another communications option in contested settings.
The hardware is designed for deployment on tripods, drones and tactical platforms. TERASi works with defense primes and the Swedish Armed Forces, as well as space and telecom organizations, as it scales field deployment of the system.
