Tallia raises $4.5 million seed round for AI tax research
Outward VC and ICAEW backed the London company's platform for research, drafting and review.
Tallia has announced a $4.5 million seed round led by Outward VC alongside the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. Portfolio Ventures, Expedite Capital, Paul Forster and Angus Miln also participated.
Formerly known as Revax, the company builds AI tools for tax professionals. Its platform connects research and drafting with legislation, regulatory guidance, case law and a firm's internal knowledge.
The funding will help bring the platform to more tax and accountancy practices. Advisers can trace answers to their sources and review drafts before turning them into client advice.
