Yara joins Stenon’s Series B in an undisclosed second close
The soil sensing company adds a crop nutrition investor after announcing an €18 million first close in July.
Stenon announced on 12 October that Yara Growth Ventures had invested in a second close of its Series B. The additional amount and updated round total were not disclosed. The same financing was first announced on 1 July at €18 million, making that figure a disclosed lower bound for the round after the new close.
The first close was led by Pymwymic, investing through its Healthy Food Systems Impact Fund II, with DTCF and existing backers also participating. Yara brings crop nutrition and agronomy experience as Stenon develops real-time soil nitrogen intelligence.
The financing supports product development and commercial expansion, including work towards machine-integrated sensing. FarmLab already measures soil conditions directly in fields to help agribusinesses make fertiliser decisions using more current data.
