SmallClaims raises €2M seed to expand AI-assisted debt recovery

Vendep Capital leads the Copenhagen legaltech company’s funding as it develops litigation agents and enters more European markets.

SmallClaims has announced a €2 million seed round led by Vendep Capital to develop its legal AI platform, expand across Europe and grow its Copenhagen team. The financing backs a service aimed at recovering smaller unpaid claims that can cost too much to pursue through conventional legal work.

According to Vendep, the company already operates in Denmark and Sweden and serves more than 500 customers. Its agents currently assess claims and prepare cases; the next product phase extends automation into filing, follow-up, mediation and payment, with legal professionals overseeing the work.

The investment gives founder Christian Olson a route to test the service in larger European markets. Vendep plans to support commercial hiring and go-to-market development as the business works towards its next financing stage.
