Shield AI adds $250M delayed-draw financing commitment

The additional facility supports future growth alongside the company’s March equity financings.

Shield AI announced an additional $250 million delayed-draw facility commitment from Blackstone-managed funds on March 26, 2026. The facility provides future borrowing capacity; the announcement did not establish that the money had been drawn.

It accompanies a separate $500 million preferred-equity investment and $1.5 billion Series G. Shield AI develops Hivemind autonomy software and V-BAT and X-BAT aircraft, while investing in simulation to develop and test its systems.
