Sealien Robotics announces more than $100m in Series A financing
The subsea robotics company completed the financing in June and is developing coordinated autonomous offshore systems.
Sealien Robotics announced on July 3, 2026 that it had completed a Series A financing of more than $100 million during June. Participants included China Insurance Investment, Fortune Capital and Addor Capital, alongside other institutional investors and returning shareholders.
The Guangzhou-based company makes subsea robots for offshore engineering, including remotely operated vehicles and equipment for trenching and cable burial. It is developing DeepMatrix, a system combining underwater robotics and artificial intelligence for autonomous marine operations.
The company’s next-generation portfolio includes an unmanned testing mothership, an autonomous underwater vehicle and an electric work-class remotely operated vehicle. These systems support its ambition to coordinate several types of equipment beneath the sea.
