Reinhart receives Mindset backing for virtual-reality EMDR research

Reinhart Group and SyncVR Medical UK are researching virtual-reality delivery of trauma therapy with Innovate UK funding.

Reinhart Group was named as a funded lead in Innovate UK's Mindset announcement on 11 September 2025. Its project with SyncVR Medical UK explores virtual-reality delivery of eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing therapy for trauma.

Reinhart coordinates research and innovation partnerships and acts as sponsor and project lead for the feasibility work. The collaboration investigates how immersive delivery could improve access to EMDR therapy.

The individual award to Reinhart was not disclosed. The wider announcement covered more than £3.6 million across 17 business-led projects.
