Project-S raises a multi-million-euro seed round for orbital safety
The German startup will build and qualify radar payloads while piloting software to help satellite operators assess collision risks.
Pairing radar observations with orbital analysis
Project-S combines space-based radar payloads with software that tracks objects, analyses satellite trajectories and assesses conjunction risk. Its platform is designed to help satellite operators understand potential collisions and evaluate manoeuvres before acting.
The multi-million-euro seed financing package will fund engineering hires, prototype radar payloads and initial software pilots with satellite fleets. Project-S has emerged from stealth with hardware still in development, so the round backs a move from prototype work toward flight qualification and operational testing.
