Pixeom raises seed funding for AI molecular research
The Oita University spinout is developing a numerical representation of molecular structure that AI models can analyze.
Representing molecules for machine learning
Pixeom's Proximity Score Matrix converts three-dimensional molecular structures into numerical representations designed for AI models. The approach is intended to support searches for similar compounds and predictions about physical properties or biological activity. The university spinout is validating the technology with research partners as it builds toward a platform for pharmaceutical companies and academic labs.
Use of funds
Build AI computing and R&D infrastructure
Advance PSM molecule-structure analysis and exploration
Run joint research and proof-of-concept work with pharmaceutical and research organizations
