Making molecular geometry usable by AI models

Pixeom develops the Proximity Score Matrix, or PSM, which converts three-dimensional molecular structures into numerical representations that AI models can learn from. Potential applications include finding similar structures, predicting physical properties and biological activity, and designing molecules.

The Oita University spinout works toward a research platform for pharmaceutical companies, universities and drug-discovery startups. Its technology is progressing through research and prototype validation, with joint studies and proof-of-concept work intended to establish how existing compound datasets can support new discoveries.
