Pinegap raises USD8 million for institutional research agents

Pinegap has raised USD8 million in a Series A round led by Stellaris Venture Partners, with participation from existing investors Inventus, Silicon Valley Quad and DeVC. YourStory reported the financing on August 5.
The company plans to build its go-to-market and sales functions, expand engineering and establish an internal team of former equity research analysts.
Pinegap works with institutional investment teams to develop agents around their research processes, private data and preferred outputs. Its workflows send material such as company primers and earnings analysis on a schedule or when market events occur, giving analysts research inputs within their existing process.
